Season 1 received a Gold Telly Award in the Public Interest & Awareness category, a Gold Telly Award in the Social Impact category.
Lehua Kamalu's piece received a Gold Telly Award in the Outdoor & Adventure category.
The series was nominated for a Webby Award in the Public Service and Activism category.
